Join the Technical Underwriting team at Hannover Re in Germany. This is a permanent position based in Hanover, starting at the earliest possible date.

Responsibilities
  • Automate underwriting processes and develop AI applications
  • Optimize data analysis of claims
  • Perform portfolio analyses and establish quotation parameters
  • Support external data pools and develop/refine tools for motor third-party liability reinsurance
  • Create and develop tools for motor TPL analysis and NatCat risks
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in (business) mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in (re)insurance, preferably property and casualty
  • Knowledge of data analytics and programming in R or Python
  • Actuarial training or interest in pursuing it
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Keen analytical abilities and initiative
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 3-4 times a year)
