We are looking for graduates with strong interpersonal skills, who are eager to learn, broaden their knowledge and expertise and want to make a difference. You have a Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree with up to 3 years professional experience – we invite you to apply to our Graduate Programme which officially starts on 1 September 2025.
The programme offers you the chance to join the dynamic, fast-moving world of a leading risk knowledge organisation. Over an 18-month period, you will receive on- and off-the-job training, including a job rotation that gives you the opportunity to work across different lines of business and departments.
About the Role
This position is an ideal start to your career at Swiss Re. Not only will you gain a broad overview of P&C reserving, but you will also get to know large parts of our P&C reinsurance organization.
We are looking for an ambitious reserving actuary to join our team in performing quarterly and yearly reserve calculations for EMEA market business.
About the Team
The hub Munich EMEA reserving team consists of 6 actuaries. We value a good team and collaborative spirit. We frequently interact with a large number of stakeholders from different functions and locations. Therefore, we value strong communication skills on top of technical expertise. Our Munich reserving hub mainly reserves all EMEA Motor treaty business.
About You
We are looking for someone who is energetic and motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills and who pays attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
