Our Activity Leaders are responsible for delivering fun and engaging activities and excursions to a group of international students, following Alpadias' innovative approach to language immersion and experiential learning. You will work closely with other Activity Leaders and Teachers to ensure our students have a meaningful, adventurous time at camp, full of learning and personal growth, while providing expert supervision and ensuring safety. Additionally, you'll take an active role in the day-to-day operations of the camp, including attendance checks, assisting during wake-ups and bedtime, and leading camp-wide Evening Programs.

Qualifications:

Essential Criteria

• Experience working with children or young people in a professional capacity
• Some German proficiency (spoken B1-B2 minimum) and ability to learn activity-specific vocabulary to ensure language immersion
• Fluency in English
• High physical, mental, and emotional resilience
• Experience in meaningful professional teamwork
• High energy levels, excitement, and comfort speaking in front of large groups
• Availability for at least 5 weeks during the summer

Desired Criteria

• Fluency in both German and English
• Experience in outdoor education or summer camps
• Drivers License and ability to drive a minivan
• Availability for the entire summer season (June 21 - August 9) and during staff training in Berlin (June 16-20)

• Pre-Summer Staff Training: 16.06.2025 - 20.06.2025
• Berlin Wannsee Camp: 21.06.2025 - 09.08.2025
• Frankfurt Lahntal Camp: 21.06.2025 - 09.08.2025

Additional Notes:

All staff will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (and provide overseas conduct certificates where applicable) and provide three professional references.
