Operational Accounting is where trivago’s finance journey begins. Every incoming and outgoing invoice accounted for, every month-end accrual and reconciliation done right: this is the foundation the entire company’s financials rest on. As an Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant, you’ll support the maintenance of accounts, procedures, and policies, and you’ll review as much as you prepare, bringing judgment to the monthly rhythm of payable and receivable records. Over twelve months you’ll take ownership of complex reconciliations and escalated queries, improve how AP and AR work end to end, and support colleagues earlier in their careers. You’ll build genuine working relationships across the business, with the autonomy to shape your own methods and the flexibility to work in a way that fits your life. trivago is a place where ambition and support go hand in hand: we hold high standards and invest in each other’s growth.
