Tourlane in Berlin is hiring a Finance Operations - Receivables Agent to join our team and help manage billing, refunds, and payment tracking. You will work with the AR team to reconcile payments and resolve customer inquiries, ensuring accurate invoicing and a smooth customer journey.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and Google Sheets; Salesforce experience is a plus. Fluency in English is required, German is a plus.

And we’re looking for a Finance Operations - Receivables Agent to join our team and embark on this journey with us.

What is the role about?

• Contributing to the planning, organization and execution of daily operations.
• Working with the accounts receivables team to handle customer billing, refunds, and tracking of customer payments.
• Assisting the Finance team with reconciling customer payments and clarifying customer balances.
• Monitoring and matching customer payments, ensuring accurate invoice creation, and resolving finance-related customer service issues.
• Processing cancellations and addressing customer inquiries related to financial transactions.
• Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, such as Sales and Customer Service, to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Supporting additional projects, such as accounting assistance, financial clean-ups, and brainstorming for process optimization.

What will you need to be successful?

Here is the experience we are looking for:

• You successfully obtained a Bachelor degree in a related field.
• You work accurately, conscientiously and withteam spirit.
• You are comfortable with MS Office suite (especially Excel) and cloud based solutions such as Google sheets. Ideally you have worked with Salesforce or a similar tool before.
• You are fluent in English, German skills are a plus.
• You are an open-minded and flexible person who does not mind a good challenge.
• You have an eye for detail and a high standard for the quality of your work.
• You effectively prioritize various tasks without losing sight of deadlines.
• You have a background in tourism or are eager to learn more about this industry.
• And last but not least, a love for travel!
