Qualifikationen

This includes Financial and Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Long-Term Financing, Tax Management, Investment Strategy, Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting, Forecasting, and comprehensive Financial Reporting and Analysis.

Ideally, Finance acts as a strategic partner advising and challenging the CEO, Business Unit Leaders, and Managers in pivotal decisions.

Guided by the CFO and Management Team, they focus on efficiency through standardized workflows and leverage cutting-edge decision-making tools and insights to bolster resilience in times of rapid change.

POSITION

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant (all genders) based in Cologne or Berlin to join our Accounting Team with fresh ideas and organizational talent. This role reports to the Team Lead Local Accounting.

CHALLENGE
  • Checking, account assignment, and posting of incoming invoices, travel expenses, credit cards, and other transactions
  • Processing payment transactions and monitoring open items
  • Account reconciliation and clarification of differences
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB)
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
  • Commercial training focusing on financial accounting or comparable education/study
  • Several years of experience as a tax clerk or industrial clerk
  • Practical knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB
  • Good understanding of national sales tax law
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (currently MS Navision, transitioning to SAP)
  • Fluent in German (minimum B2 level), with good English proficiency

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
