Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Finanzbereich, vorzugsweise in einem multinationalen Unternehmen.
• Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch (schriftlich und mündlich).

Aufgaben

• Unterstützung bei der Durchführung der Buchhaltung gemäß IFRS/HGB.
• Verarbeitung von monatlichen Journaleinträgen, Rückstellungen und Provisions.

In order to expand our Finance team in Mannheim, Germany, we are looking for a motivated

Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

as soon as possible.

Brief Description

• Support the execution of general ledger accounting in compliance with relevant legal requirements (IFRS/HGB)
• Back up team members in various accounting tasks (posting invoices, processing bank statements, CAPEX, Insurance, etc.)
• Support the Accounts Payable & Receivable functions
• Process monthly journals, accruals & provisions
• Support the preparation and reporting of the monthly management accounts.
• Maintenance and development of the Fixed Asset Register and accounting for depreciation charges
• Review and account for employee concur expense reports
• Stock accounting in collaboration with the local controlling
• Comply with all internal control processes/policies/procedures including any relevant J-SOX controls in your area of work
• Analyzing financial information and preparing ad hoc reports relating to your work area

Technical Requirements

• At least 3 years post qualification experience in finance, preferably in a multinational organization
• Bachelor's degree in Economics or similar qualification (e.g., Finance)
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• IFRS and German GAAP knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel
• Experience with SAP Financials
