About the Company

We are a fast-scaling telecom startup reinventing how people connect - powered by cutting-edge software, eSIM technology, and a global MVNO network. Backed by top-tier investors, we're rapidly expanding our footprint across Europe.

We're now looking for a hands-on Accounting & Financial Controlling Manager to join our small but mighty team. You'll take full ownership of our finance operations in Germany - and play a key role as we scale across additional EU markets.

What You'll Do

• Run the full accounting process for our German entity using DATEV
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB; IFRS over time)
• Manage payment flows, dunning, and liquidity planning
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Coordinate with our US finance team (QuickBooks, US GAAP) and consolidate financial data
• Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and the tax office (including VAT filings)
• Build and improve internal finance processes and controls from the ground up

What You Bring

• 5-8 years of experience in accounting or controlling, ideally in a fast-moving or international environment
• Deep knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), VAT, and financial reporting
• Experience with DATEV (Unternehmen Online, Rechnungswesen) or similar tools
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Relevant qualification (e.g. certified accountant, tax specialist, or degree in Business/Finance/Accounting)
• Full professional fluency in both German and English

Nice to have:

• Experience in telecom, tech, startups, or international structures
• Familiarity with IFRS, QuickBooks, and/or US GAAP
