Your mission
As a Senior Accountant, you play a crucial role in our finance team, supporting the finance department in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all accounting and financial functions. Main responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the execution of all accounting functions, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports
- Leading the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes and liquidity planning, as well as preparing financial reports according to applicable accounting standards
- Support the Director of Finance in analyses and evaluations of financial data to identify financial trends and assess financial performance metrics
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and legal regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize accounting processes and meet operational requirements
- Providing support on special projects and other tasks as needed
- Assisting with internal tax audits
- Supporting as a point of contact for banks, tax advisors, and tax authorities
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, such as a tax clerk or industrial clerk, preferably as an accountant
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a similar position or at a tax advisor
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Extensive experience in using accounting software (DATEV) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team orientation and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and changes
