Qualifikationen

• 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Rolle, idealerweise im Einzelhandel / E-Commerce.

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time accountant within our finance, accounting, and controlling team.

As an Accountant, you will join a dynamic and international team based at our Düsseldorf office. Your main duties will include general accounting activities such as bookkeeping for separate legal entities (nationally and internationally), monthly / quarterly closing, preparing consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and HGB, conducting accounting-related analyses and reconciliations, and supporting the coordination of financial audits. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to address accounting-related inquiries related to accounts receivable and payable, oversee, optimize, and enhance internal accounting processes.

You've got

1. Experience with SAP accounting system, Tagetik and good knowledge in relevant IT applications - MS Excel
2. 3-5 years experience within similar role and ideally within retail / eCommerce sector
3. The degree / relevant qualification in accounting is essential
4. Experience in accounts receivable (e.g. revenue and expense accounting, payment methods management)
5. Knowledge of IFRS and HGB (or other GAAPs)
6. Knowledge of fixed assets accounting and IFRS 16
7. Proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented
8. Ownership and solution-oriented mindset
9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
10. Fluent in English, German would be a plus.
