IFCO Group is seeking an Accountant General Ledger & Fixed Asset (m/f/d) for a fixed-term assignment in Berlin. You will manage asset invoices, create assets, and own end-to-end fixed asset accounting, including month-end closings and intercompany reconciliations.

Strong SAP FI/S4HANA experience and English/German language skills are valued. The position offers a hybrid work setup, a collaborative international team, and opportunities to contribute to audit support and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Strong general ledger and fixed assets experience.
• Solid understanding of VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Experience with SAP FI and FI-AA in S/4HANA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Asset Invoice Processing: post and review asset-related invoices, ensure proper accounts and capitalization.
• Asset Creation: create assets in the system with correct class, useful life, depreciation key, and master data.
• Fixed Assets Accounting: manage capitalization, transfers, disposals, scrapping, depreciation run, and monthly review.
• Subledger Reconciliation: reconcile asset subledger to GL monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Material sales: process outbound postings and disposals with Operations.
• Month-End/Year-End Closing: execute asset-related closings, postings, accruals, and item clearing.
• Audit Support: prepare documentation and analyses for auditors.
• Reporting: prepare asset-related reports, capex, depreciation analyses for monthly/annual packs.
• Intercompany Asset Transactions: handle transfers and related reconciliations.
• Process Documentation: maintain and improve process docs for transparency.
• Knowledge Sharing: support onboarding and team knowledge sharing.
