WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Join our international Financial Reporting teamand start your career as an Accountant. In this position you are responsible for the general ledger activities and act as an interface between different departments and our group headquarters. You work closely with our group companies and ensure that all accounting processes run smoothly. In doing so, you have the opportunity to continuously expand and apply your financial reporting expertise.

  • In this role, youprocess business transactions in the general ledger and in asset & lease accounting, as well as reconciliation of sub-ledgers.
  • Moreover, you prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB/local GaaP standards for European BASF Group companies in a timely manner.
  • You support income tax calculations and provide input to group reporting.
  • In addition, you are the central contact person in accounting matters for our subsidiaries, other finance departments, central finance units of BASF as well as external auditors.
  • You are involved in projects and participate in the development of tools and processes. Join us on our journey to implement SAP S/4HANA in the coming years.
  • Together with your colleagues you actively contribute to our great team spirit and further development of the organization.

WHAT YOU OFFER
