IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Gentherm Medical is seeking an innovative Financial Analyst responsible for daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and aligning local processes with the overall Medical business strategy. This role is essential in providing analytics to support decision-making and drive cash flow, productivity, and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform daily accounting activities.
- Manage cash flow related to invoicing, receivables, and vendor payments.
- Lead the monthly closing process in coordination with tax consultants.
- Conduct account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews to ensure controllership.
- Deliver financial reports such as month-end close, and support planning and budgeting for both local and global Medical business units.
- Maintain data integrity within LucaNet system interface.
- Provide backup support for payroll and administrative tasks.
- Resolve complex business problems using advanced analytical skills and judgment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
- At least 5 years of financial and accounting experience supporting manufacturing operations and distribution.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and data analytics.
- Process-oriented with initiative to streamline workflows.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- CPA preferred but not mandatory.
- Certified Accountant designation.
- Six Sigma Certification and Lean foundation knowledge.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision, LucaNet, Blackline, and Business Objects systems.
