• Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen gemäß HGB.
• Vorbereitung und Versand von Rechnungen und Überwachung des Mahnprozesses.

Your role

They are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support their Berlin team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate and timely accounting and supporting management with precise financial information.

Your Tasks:

1. Management of current accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
2. Preparation and dispatch of invoices as well as monitoring of the dunning process.
3. Preparation and execution of payment transactions.
4. Cooperation with the tax advisor, particularly in preparing annual financial statements and tax returns.
5. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
6. Participation in budget planning and control.
7. Use of Moss accounting software for various financial processes.
8. Preparation of advance VAT returns and assistance to the tax consultant.
9. Documentation and optimization of accounting processes.

Your Profile:

• Completed commercial training or a degree in finance/accounting.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a startup environment.
• Solid knowledge of accounting software and MS Office; experience with Moss is an advantage.
• Careful, independent, and structured work style.
• Ability to work well in a team and high reliability.
• Excellent written and spoken German skills.
