We are expanding our team and seeking an Accountant to leverage their expertise to increase the visibility and usage of our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including transaction posting, month-end closing, reporting, and audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with German GAAP.
• Act as the primary accountant for the German entity, liaising with local accounting and tax advisors.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, prepare financial reports, and annual statements.
• Prepare and submit tax filings such as VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax, and trade tax.
• Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance with German tax laws.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience for a German company.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), tax laws, and statutory reporting.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Highly autonomous and transparent work approach.
• Proactive, action-oriented, and motivated to deliver results.
