ABOUT THE JOB

We’re expanding rapidly, and to support our financial operations, we’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant. This role will be key in managing our accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the transition to in-house accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle preparatory accounting tasks in Moss, including booking incoming invoices and credit cards, and writing outgoing invoices for B2B clients.
2. Lead the transition to in-house accounting using Datev.
3. Act as the primary contact person for the tax office, VAT provider, and travel management provider.
4. Provide support with payroll processes.
5. Serve as the go-to contact for colleagues regarding invoices, credit cards, and travel management inquiries.
6. Ensure accurate and timely account declarations with the tax office.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

1. Background in in-house accounting or prior experience at a tax office.
2. At least 3-4 years of experience in German accounting & experience in account posting.
3. Proficiency in using Datev Rechnungswesen.
4. Experience in payroll accounting is a plus.
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
6. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
