Account Manager Y-EMEA ECS Division - Mercedes and Daimler Truck

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full responsibility for sales results related to new and existing customers.
• Develop customer relationships to earn respect and confidence through reliable support and follow-up.
• Drive cross-functional activities for design-in and launch of both "off the shelf" and "new product" projects (technical and commercial).
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential new clients by implementing targeted actions to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Yazaki-EMEA Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) to enhance ECS (Electronics & Connection Systems) image and increase vertical integration of components/electronics.
• Work with product development and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs.
• Support and monitor budget and forecast for the Yazaki-EMEA scope.
• Coordinate with the finance department for invoicing and payment collection.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in technical sales within the automotive component sector.
• Deep knowledge of Automotive Industry, especially Electrical Distribution Systems, Connection Systems, Electronics.
• Experience working with OEMs or in supplier environments.
• Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proven sales record, with experience in pursuing new business opportunities and developing effective sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to address client issues.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple accounts and projects.
• Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office Suite; quick learner of new technologies and tools.
• Effective team player with a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and North Africa.
• Fluent in English; very good German language skills are required.
