Your Role and Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for a defined geographical area and assigned customers. Responsibilities include managing incoming orders, sales targets, acquiring new customers, and introducing new products and systems. The role requires understanding customer needs and ensuring these are effectively addressed within ABB.

Key tasks include maintaining contact with SAB and major EL customers, determining requirements, implementing technical solutions, preparing calculations and offers, tracking offers, negotiating prices, and managing contracts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Acquiring and maintaining relationships with target customer groups
  • Developing solution- and value-oriented cooperation with customers
  • Negotiating agreements with decision-makers focusing on mutual growth
  • Enhancing technical and marketing expertise of our solutions
  • Promoting the use of ABB software tools and configurators
  • Managing condition and bonus agreements
  • Conducting annual meetings and regional marketing activities
  • Implementing digitalization initiatives (e-commerce, online tools, online store EGH)
Qualifications
  • Completed technical studies, technician, or master craftsman with relevant experience in power supply systems
  • At least 2 years of experience in planning and implementing power supply systems
  • Deep expertise in building power supply and infrastructural systems
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations in Germany
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • High willingness to travel
