Are you a sales dynamo with a passion for driving results in the life sciences sector? Revvity is looking for an Account Manager / Sales Specialist (m / w / d) to lead our Platforms (High-Content and Cellular Imaging instrumentation) sales efforts across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. As part of our team, you will be responsible for achieving sales quotas and goals within a defined geographic territory or account list, prospecting, developing business, responding to RFPs, and developing proposals for presentation to customers.
Key responsibilities :
- Present Revvity capabilities in the marketplace, serve as the first contact to prospective customers, increase market share, and represent Revvity in existing accounts.
- Grow geographic sales volume by executing regional sales plans aligned with strategic objectives, focusing on current customers, identifying new accounts, participating in trade shows, and improving market share and profitability.
- Manage designated accounts by executing specific sales plans, promoting product line growth, and utilizing support resources effectively.
- Develop and implement business plans, maintain territory and time management, present technical information, and identify customer needs and trends.
- Provide information about techniques and products, follow up on inquiries, and maintain customer data using approved tools like CRM software.
- Update opportunity funnels and forecasts regularly, cultivate partnerships, and facilitate customer problem-solving through training and recommendations.
- Maintain technical selling capabilities for a consultative approach and stay informed about competitive offerings.
Job Requirements :
- Sales Skills : 2-3 years of sales experience required; candidates with at least 1 year with transferable skills and a drive for success will be considered.
- Technical Skills : Good understanding of our Platforms and Automation solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, tailored to the customer base, with enthusiasm for working with customers and colleagues.
- Team Skills : Ability to support and share knowledge within the DACH / EU team, providing feedback on industry trends and opportunities.
- Business and organizational knowledge to create territory, business, and key account plans, focusing on customer retention and new business generation.
- Change Management : Flexibility to adapt roles and strategies as the marketplace evolves, facilitating and embracing change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, preferably molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
- Proficiency in German and English, both verbal and written.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory, with occasional visits to Hamburg.
Travel Requirements : 50-60%, with 10% outside the core territory.
