Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager (m/w/d) to lead growth initiatives for our Sensor Solutions business, focusing on Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across the European region.
As a key member of our Automotive sales team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding strategic OEM relationships, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and executing regional growth plans Success in this role requires strong customer relationship skills, commercial acumen and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and internal teams


This is a home-office-based position within the EMEA region (Germany, France, UK, Poland, or Scandinavia preferred).

Job Requirements

• Own and grow revenue with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1s in your assigned region.
• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified sensor opportunities.
• Build and deepen executive-level relationships with decision-makers in automotive engineering, purchasing, and R&D teams.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and multi-year agreements to ensure customer satisfaction and commercial success.
• Act as the voice of the automotive customer, driving alignment between market needs and internal product development.
• Provide accurate forecasting through active pipeline management and participation in the S&OP process.
• Represent TE at key automotive trade fairs and industry events, showcasing our latest sensor innovations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FAEs, Product Managers, Program Managers, and Supply Chain to deliver superior customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to anticipate customer needs and shape strategic initiatives.

What your background should look like

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Automotive Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development, ideally with OEM or Tier 1 accounts.
• Strong background in sensor technologies, electromechanical components, or automotive electronics preferred.
• Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with automotive procurement and technical teams.
• Fluent in English; German or French is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel across the region (>50%).
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office applications.
