In our Division Building Automation at HMS Networks, we're a global leader in Smart Building and Home Automation solutions. Our Intesis product line empowers system integrators and OEMs with robust, intuitive gateways and AC interfaces that enable fast, reliable, and future-ready integration.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager, located in Karlsruhe or remote in Germany, to drive growth and support our expanding customer base across the Nordics, Baltics & Benelux. This role combines sales, technology, and strategic channel development – ideal for someone with both a hunter mindset and deep Building Automation expertise.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Growing our range of Building Automation protocol translator / gateways and Air-conditioning interfaces under the Intesis brand within the Nordics, Baltics & Benelux.
  2. Building lasting relationships with HVAC, BMS & Home Automation manufacturers, distributors, and integrators.
  3. Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable integration solutions.
  4. Supporting the full sales cycle, from pre-sales consulting to post-sales support.
  5. Conducting demos, trainings, and representing Intesis at industry events.
  6. Collaborating with Product Management and Marketing to enhance market presence.
  7. Assisting customers with design-in activities, solution architecture, and integration of Intesis products into building automation systems (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, KNX).

Qualifications include:

  • Several years of professional experience in technical sales of building automation products.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in B2B sales, technical solutions, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of building automation protocols (Modbus, BACnet, KNX); HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Sales-driven, hands-on, and self-motivated.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the region; a company car is provided for business and private use.
  • Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
