To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Account Manager (f/m/d) in our plant in Ovar, Portugal, or our locations in Germany (Cologne, Stuttgart, Munich).

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all technical activities for our key customers for Wiring Harness, components, and Electronics for Non-Automotive Market; and Wiring Harness for Automotive Tiers.
• Develop current/new customer relationships to earn respect and confidence via reliable customer support. Full responsibility for technical exchanges and specification releases to meet customer expectations and targets.
• Guarantee the development of Wiring Harness, Components, and Electronics in line with project & customer milestones and specifications through technical expertise and coordination of development & qualification activities involving internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Interface with internal and customer development engineers and project managers to define project schedules for drawings, specifications, technical manuals, and other documents. Translate verified customer specifications into Yazaki product development documentation.
• Evaluate existing solutions with development engineering and define the optimal solution for a product proposal to the customer.
• Define the required product validation process for customer acceptance in collaboration with the customer and Product Engineering.
• Support program and project managers in critical communication with customers and suppliers.
• Support new business activities and focus on long-term customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and expectations.
• Collect customer and market potential related to customer applications and coordinate with the appropriate contacts within the organization.
• Analyze fundamental technical trends in the market segment, including competitor developments.
• Support business plan development and provide market assessment and marketing plan input.
• Promote Yazaki technology to customers.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Engineering
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Professional experience in Wiring Harness
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Willingness to travel
• Good German skills are an advantage
