As one of the largest animal feed producers in Germany and part of a leading global company, we have been supporting our customers in agriculture with sustainable, innovative solutions for many years. You will be part of the newly formed Strategic Marketing team within Europe and Central Asia (ECA) and will be working in the digital domain; an area of strategic importance for Trouw Nutrition’s business.
For our Digital Solutions department in Germany, we are looking for a candidate with a passion for digital services and a strong business sense. You will be part of a team that is engaged in the digital transformation of feed optimization. Within our digital offering, the focus will be on the mobile (NOA) and desktop NIR Scanner and the associated digital products.
What will you do?
- Develop and implement sales strategies (sales, presentations, events) and identify new business opportunities (cross-selling, up-selling), mainly in the B2B domain.
- Conduct continuous market/competitor analysis to identify trends and recognize opportunities for business growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key business customers and the internal sales team (key accounts).
- Identify opportunities for long-term customer retention and development by providing value-added solutions.
- Be responsible for the care and satisfaction of assigned customers.
- Handle inquiries and provide support as needed, in collaboration with customer service.
- Create customized offers and contracts; negotiate contract terms, prices, and conditions for key accounts that benefit the company.
- Collect feedback and relay relevant information to continuously improve products, services, and processes.
- Work closely with other departments such as sales, laboratory, marketing, product development, and customer service (establishing way of work).
- Cover the D-A-CH region.
What you bring:
- At least a bachelor degree in agricultural sciences, alternatively in similar fields of study, or completed training with professional experience in sales.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Proficient in MS Office and strong technical, digital understanding (IT affinity).
- Fluent and business proficient in German.
- Communication and negotiation skills, as well as service orientation and sociability.
- High practical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Independent, structured, and self-organized work approach.
- Knowledge in raw material analysis (ingredients, nutrients) and ration calculation is desirable.
- Passion for agriculture and animal husbandry.
