CK Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading global medical technology company dedicated to advancing the world of health.

This is a permanent, field-based Account Manager role.

Account Manager Role:

You will be responsible for the successful sale of BD Integrated Diagnostics Solutions products and solutions, focusing on both maintaining existing customers and acquiring new ones.
You will build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including doctors, procurement teams, and laboratory staff in pathology and cytology laboratories.
You will strategically develop your territory, manage key customer projects, and ensure sales targets are met in line with business goals.

Further responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing.
  • Developing strategic plans based on potential analysis and customer segmentation.
  • Leading customer projects and implementing agreed marketing and sales concepts.
  • Handling complex sales opportunities using strategic sales methods.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to position the portfolio within the customer’s value chain.
  • Analysing and documenting sales performance and opportunities using Salesforce CRM.
Your Background:
  • Degree in biology, biotechnology, medical technology, or a comparable scientific field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in diagnostics or medical technology, ideally with proven success in molecular biology.
  • Experience in cytology sales is advantageous.
  • Strong business acumen, sales planning, and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the laboratory sector, with the ability to meet agreed targets through persistence and creativity.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 75%).
  • Skilled in Salesforce, IT programs, and communication tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset.
