About the role:

We are seeking an energetic Account Manager for the DACH region to join our team and contribute to the success of Horseware Ireland. The role involves growing our business and strengthening relationships with retail partners.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a progressive, innovative, and unique environment where your input can influence Horseware Ireland's market growth.

Travel throughout the DACH region is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strong year-on-year growth and meet quarterly account and regional targets
  • Develop long-term joint business plans with strategic accounts to scale their business
  • Work with smaller accounts to maximize growth opportunities
  • Report regularly on progress with business and revenue goals
  • Identify and close additional sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and team to identify and pursue high-potential accounts
  • Design regional journey plans, call schedules, and update weekly
  • Work cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals
  • Conduct industry analysis and research
  • Analyze sales data and collaborate with marketing and sales teams on outreach strategies
  • Implement and monitor compliance with Horseware planograms throughout the year

About you:

  • Experience in account management, sales, or retail with quarterly targets
  • Experience in B2B sales supporting retailers
  • Proven track record of achieving sales metrics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across different organizational parts
  • Experience in research, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling
  • Understanding of customer and consumer needs
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Full EU driver’s license required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 50% travel required, including company events at headquarters in Ireland
