About the role

We are seeking an energetic Account Manager for the DACH region to join our team. This pivotal role aims to grow our business and strengthen relationships with retail partners. It offers a unique opportunity to work in an innovative environment and contribute to Horseware Ireland’s market expansion. Travel within the DACH region is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve strong year-on-year growth and meet quarterly regional targets
  • Develop long-term joint business plans with strategic accounts to scale their operations
  • Maximize growth across smaller accounts
  • Provide regular reports on business progress and revenue
  • Identify and close new sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and team to identify high-potential accounts
  • Design and update regional journey plans, including call schedules and customer segmentation
  • Work cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals
  • Conduct industry research and analyze sales data
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams on outreach strategies
  • Ensure compliance with Horseware planograms and take corrective actions as needed
About you
  • Experience in account management, sales, or retail with quarterly targets
  • Experience in B2B sales supporting retailers
  • Proven sales success and achievement of metrics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments
  • Experience in prospecting, account planning, and cold calling
  • Understanding customer needs and actively anticipating them
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Full EU driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel 50%, including to Ireland for company events
