We are looking for a positive and resourceful person to join our team in the role of Account Manager where you will be part of a small but growing customer-focused team.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with our clients, ensuring their success with our software solutions. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.

You will also need to develop internal relationships within our industry, sales support and implementation teams who will support you in identifying the best approach to the gaps that you identify with our customers.

This role will require strong organizational skills, industry knowledge in Workforce Management or Workforce Management in the Supply Chain, with the ability to work closely with customers and other colleagues.

In the Account Management role, your responsibilities will include :

  • Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned client accounts, acting as their main point of contact / escalation.
  • Upselling and Cross-selling : Identify opportunities and translate them into signed deals by upselling additional products or services based on client needs and usage patterns. This includes planning and organizing presales presentations
  • Account Development : Develop comprehensive account strategies for our accounts in collaboration with the ORTEC industry leads.
  • Issue Resolution : Address client concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Contract management : Generate contracts and statement of work documentation with the support of the internal operations teams.
  • Reporting and Analysis : Prepare regular account reports and provide insights based on data analysis to help clients achieve their objectives.

Who you are

  • Education : Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience : 2+ years of experience in technology, account management or sales.
  • Very good level of German language (C1 level or native) and English language (B2+ level)
  • The role is based in Germany with a hybrid work model, work-related travel will be required.
