Job summary

Bitsight is seeking a German-speaking Account Manager based in Germany to drive client retention and expansion within the DACH region. You will articulate the value of Bitsight's SaaS offerings to executives and key stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow revenue.

The role reports to the VP of Account Management EMEA and requires 2–4 years of client-facing experience, German and English fluency, and a track record of enterprise account management.

Account Manager, German Speaking Based in Germany

Job Description Summary

This position reports to the VP of Account Management EMEA. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving client retention and expansion within their designated Bitsight territory. This person will focus on growing revenue, solving complex client challenges, and building trusted relationships with thought leaders and executives across the assigned territory. Success in this role will be measured by achievement of both client retention and expansion targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize client retention, contract upgrades, and sales of Bitsight products and services
• Articulate the business and technical value of Bitsight's product offerings
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, with the goal of expanding Bitsight's footprint
• Establish and build relationships with C level executives and other key stakeholders within designated accounts
• Accurately forecast deals on a monthly and quarterly basis for leadership
• Identify and articulate the strategic, organizational, and financial goals of assigned clients
• Develop and execute account plans and sales campaigns for specific assigned clients
• Work cross functionally within Bitsight to define and drive action plans that improve or optimize the use of Bitsight products and services
• Maintain accurate account and contact information within the CRM for all assigned accounts

Job Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of successful, progressive experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client facing role
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business discipline
• SaaS experience required
• Cybersecurity and cyber risk management experience highly valued
• Fluency in English and German required
• Previous experience managing clients in the DACH region required
• Previous experience in the Benelux and Nordics markets is a plus
• Strong territory and contract management skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong consultative and solution selling skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in team environments
• Strong relationship building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High energy, integrity, self motivation, positive attitude, confidence, and a proactive approach to work
• Proven track record in a client focused environment
