Jobbeschreibung

An international manufacturer of semiconductor machinery seeks an Account Manager to join their growing operation in Germany.

The role will focus on selling semiconductor equipment mainly to wafer processing companies.

The Account Manager will also oversee developing new business, especially in the SiC wafer business in Germany and Italy.

As the products are already used in various companies, this role is suited to those experienced with semiconductor machinery companies and both new business development and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.

On a case-by-case basis, you will be required to visit clients.

TYPE : Permanent, full time

SALARY : €90K (including 13th salary) + discretionary annual bonus + company car

START : ASAP

LOCATION : Full-remote in South Germany

WORKING HOURS : 8:00-16:30 (lunch 30 minutes)

Account Manager Core Duties :
  • New business development: Prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, attending fairs, and other means to generate interest, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities, securing new orders, and increasing business mainly in Germany.
  • Plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to do business.
  • Meet European sales targets in units, revenue, and profitability.
  • Sales strategy development, planning, and execution: Develop and execute the sales pipeline and contribute to sales planning for the coming years in collaboration with other sales team members, distributors, and the overseas division.
  • Client retention and growth: Grow and retain existing accounts by listening to customer feedback and collaborating with the product development team. Nurture relationships with key customers to develop local ambassadors in collaboration with distributors.
Ideal Candidate :
  • 3+ years relevant sales experience selling semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • University degree or equivalent in business or marketing is preferred.
  • Fluent in English and native-level German required.
  • Japanese language skills are advantageous.
  • Must have the right to work in Germany; visa support is not available.
