A Japanese manufacturer in Amstelveen is looking for an Account Manager / Business Development Manager. You will primarily support existing clients and develop new clients in the cosmetic industry in the Netherlands.

- Hours: 32-40 hours/week, Core hours 9:30 – 16:00
- Salary: €60-70k/year + performance bonus, depending on experience

Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers
- Engage with customers to take supply orders and introduce new products
- Prepare and submit Customer Visit Reports with meeting summaries and sales strategies
- Complete monthly activity and results reports using provided templates
- Coordinate with the CEO, VP, R&D, and colleagues to stay updated on products, trends, and customer needs
- Use Exact Online to update customer information and manage schedules
- Travel as needed, manage expenses and logs appropriately
- Adhere to MCLS Europe pricing policies
- Assist with inventory movement when necessary
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2-3 years sales or related experience in cosmetics, chemicals, ingredients, or nutrition industries
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and internet use
- Willing to travel to client sites
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages (Dutch, Japanese, German, French) are a plus
- Must have the right to work in the Netherlands; visa sponsorship not available
