Jobbeschreibung

The Account Manager’s role is to ensure the achievement of sales within their given territory. The position will be responsible for managing all business accounts in the assigned region, creating strategies, and executing tactics to develop and implement sales plans that will contribute to the financial growth of the company.

Location : Home-office from the state of Baden-Württemberg

Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Develop, establish, and implement an effective sales plan tailored to the territory and specific accounts to achieve the goals of the budget and financial growth of the territory.
  2. Maintain current knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and customers.
  3. Manage existing accounts and expand the customer base in the territory, developing long-term profitable accounts.
  4. Participate in all sales activities and attend meetings.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Molecular Biology is required; PhD preferred.
  • Previous experience in Next Generation Sequencing is required.
  • Sales experience in the Life Science industry is preferred.
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written English communication skills.
  • Native or business-level German speaking is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven success in generating new customer leads and building a business.
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, home-office setting.
