Account Executive (German Market)

As an Account Executive at Klaviyo, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence our growth and your career. Our AEs are product experts who excel at closing deals with the right customers, helping them succeed. With our expansion into Germany, you will be part of a new founding team driving international growth.

In this role focused on Mid-Market+ clients, you will be responsible for acquiring new logos and expanding existing customer relationships. You will manage the entire sales cycle independently—from lead qualification and demos to closing deals—and handle multiple prospects and active clients. Top-performing AEs typically achieve a 70% close rate, provide accurate forecasts, and proactively grow accounts while maintaining strong customer relationships to maximize long-term value.

What You Will Do:
  • Build Klaviyo’s customer base in the German Mid-Market+ segment.
  • Be a founding member of our German go-to-market team, shaping our regional presence.
  • Manage your pipeline actively and develop strategies for sustainable success.
  • Support your colleagues’ success.
  • Represent Klaviyo’s values with responsibility and dedication.
  • Mentor and support new Account Executives.
  • Develop your skills and participate in related tasks over time.
What You Need:
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • At least 5 years of experience meeting net new revenue quotas and consistently exceeding sales targets for MarTech, marketing automation, or SaaS solutions in the German market.
  • Deep understanding of the e-commerce, retail, and D2C brands ecosystem in Germany.
  • Experience selling to C-suite and marketing personas with strong knowledge of e-commerce, retail, and brands.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-revenue sales environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Motivated to achieve and surpass goals.
  • Resilient to rejection and view setbacks as growth opportunities.
  • Growth mindset, constantly seeking improvements.

Our salary range reflects local labor costs. The base salary for this position is €105,000, determined by skills, experience, education, and location.
