About the Role – Partner Development Manager Germany

As our first Partner Development Manager in Germany, you will be instrumental in launching our platform in a new market. Your role involves building our supply of high-quality, unique experiences by identifying, connecting with, and supporting local hosts across Germany.

This position is commercial and relationship-focused, ideal for someone passionate about creating partnerships, spotting trends, and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Research and identify high-potential experience providers (hosts) in Germany
  • Engage with potential hosts via email, phone, video calls, and in-person meetings
  • Sign new hosts and ensure smooth onboarding
  • Collaborate with content and operations teams to showcase experiences on the platform (text, visuals, setup)
  • Support hosts post-onboarding: answer questions, resolve issues, and help them succeed
  • Maintain and grow relationships with your host portfolio and identify opportunities for partnership expansion
  • Represent Truestory professionally and passionately in Germany
Qualifications

  • Are a proactive self-starter who loves acquiring new business
  • Have experience in sales, partnership management, or account management—preferably in tourism, hospitality, or e-commerce
  • Are excited about launching new initiatives and entrepreneurial challenges
  • Enjoy building strong relationships and creating win-win partnerships
  • Have an eye for discovering hidden gems and market trends in leisure experiences
  • Are organized, reliable, and proactive in follow-ups and communication
  • Are fluent in German and confident in English (our internal language)
