Job Description

This position is part of Wipro Germany (Wipro GmbH).

The disciplinary manager for this role is Rajnish R.

The Account Executive is accountable for both farming (up-sell and cross-sell) and delivery in a client. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth from the account by:

  • Developing strategic relationships with decision makers and influencers in the customer’s organization.
  • Creating and sharing sales success stories.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through world-class delivery.
Responsibilities
  • The AE develops and strengthens relationships with decision makers and influencers in the account. He/she drives penetration in various functions including outside CIO. He/she should become a trusted IT advisor to the customer and participate in strategic planning.
  • The AE builds a trusted group of referable contacts who can vouch for Wipro. He/she executes a plan to develop allies and partner with them, builds personal connections, and gains access to new contacts. He/she ensures a balance of customer engagement across business, management, and operations.
  • The AE identifies growth opportunities in the account(s) and leads account strategy and planning. He/she drives penetration in the customer’s business units and maintains a comprehensive account growth strategy. He/she monitors sales trends and market dynamics, incorporating them into the account strategy.
  • You will be responsible for mentoring and nurturing the next line of leadership in the account team. He/she ensures high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and quality of experience. You will communicate progress against the account plan and other developments to relevant stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
  • The AE ensures cross-geographic synergies in project management and delivery execution. He/she orchestrates internal resources in sales and delivery to enhance customer experience. Conducts regular delivery reviews to prevent cost and schedule overruns.
  • The AE monitors key metrics regularly and plans initiatives to optimize costs and improve service standards. He/she identifies weak areas in delivery and devises corrective actions to ensure on-time, defect-free delivery.
  • He/she utilizes resources effectively to implement development and delivery plans.
  • He/she showcases Wipro’s solutions as a strategic fit for the customer through workshops, presentations, and executive meetings. He/she advocates for higher value services and solutions aligned with Wipro’s offerings.
Skills and Experience
  • At least 15 years of experience managing large accounts in the IT professional services sector.
  • Strong background in Application Services, Engineering services, and Infrastructure services preferred.
  • Experience handling customers in Banking and Financial Services.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in German is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills internally and with clients.
  • Previous experience managing accounts/P&L portfolios exceeding USD 10 million.
