The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Candidates should have the ability to prospect via email, phone, and partner ecosystem, develop, and close business efficiently while focusing on client requirements. The AE must confidently negotiate and close agreements and support onboarding of new customers.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high visibility, high impact projects during an exciting growth phase for Snowflake, an innovative and customer-focused company in a large and expanding market. We are looking for energetic, self-managed professionals experienced in managing complex sales processes, with excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.

AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Achieve sales quotas for your territory by developing strategic sales plans and targeting prospects.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' IT roadmaps and promoting Snowflake solutions.
  • Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Conduct executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Manage sales processes and close opportunities.
  • Ensure ongoing account satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.
  • Utilize a solution-based sales approach with proven experience in managing complex sales cycles.
OUR IDEAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE WILL HAVE:
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology.
  • 5+ years focused on generating new enterprise business.
  • Proven ability to develop and close new client relationships independently.
  • Experience achieving $800k+ ARR annually and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
  • Strong track record in activity management, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
  • Proactive, energetic, positive attitude, with excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and understand broader business drivers around IT.
BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
  • Experience implementing MEDDPICC.
  • Experience selling software or cloud applications to enterprise clients.
