The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. People who excel at this job have the ability to prospect (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), develop, and close business within a timely manner while focusing on the clients’ requirements. The AE must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements with clients and support new customers through our onboarding process.

We are looking for an energetic, self-managed professional with experience managing complex sales processes and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.

AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory by developing a sales strategy with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
  • Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  • Be the trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmap to promote Snowflake solutions.
  • Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Conduct initial discussions with Executives and CxOs.
  • Manage sales processes and close opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and additional revenue.
  • Apply a solution-based approach to selling, managing complex sales processes, and demonstrating excellent presentation and relationship skills.
OUR IDEAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE WILL HAVE:
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud-related technology.
  • 5+ years focused on generating new business within enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close client relationships.
  • Experience hitting quotas of $800k+ ARR annually and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings per week.
  • Focus on new business sales.
  • A track record of activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  • Ability to determine customer requirements and present solutions.
  • Proactive, independent, high-energy, positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Understanding of business drivers around IT.
BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH:
  • Implementing MEDDPICC.
  • Selling software or cloud-based applications to enterprises.
