The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Candidates who excel at this job can prospect (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), develop, and close business promptly while focusing on clients’ requirements. They must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements and support new customers through onboarding.

We seek energetic, self-managed professionals with experience managing complex sales processes, excellent presentation and listening skills, and strong organization and contact management capabilities.

As an Account Executive at Snowflake, you will:
  1. Achieve sales quotas for your accounts and territory by developing a sales strategy, target prospect list, and regional sales plan.
  2. Collaborate with marketing to develop plans that drive revenue growth.
  3. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake solutions.
  4. Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
  5. Conduct initial discussions and positioning meetings with executives and CxOs.
  6. Manage the sales process and close opportunities.
  7. Maintain ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and additional revenue.
  8. Utilize a solution-based approach to selling, managing complex sales processes, and demonstrating excellent presentation and communication skills.
Our ideal Account Executive will have:
  1. BA / BS degree.
  2. 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably with a focus on data or cloud technology.
  3. Over 5 years of experience generating new business within enterprise accounts.
  4. Proven ability to independently develop and close new client relationships.
  5. Experience achieving quotas of $800k+ ARR annually and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
  6. Focus on new business sales.
  7. Track record of activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  8. Ability to understand customer requirements and present solutions effectively.
  9. Proactive, independent, energetic, and positive attitude.
  10. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  12. Understanding of the broader business drivers around IT.
Bonus points for experience with:
  1. Implementing MEDDPICC.
  2. Selling software or cloud applications to enterprise clients.
