The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Successful candidates will prospect (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), develop, and close business promptly while focusing on clients’ requirements. They must confidently negotiate and close agreements and support onboarding for new customers.

As an Account Executive at Snowflake, you will:
  • Achieve sales quotas for your territory by developing a strategic sales plan targeting prospects.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps and promoting Snowflake solutions.
  • Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Conduct executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Manage the sales process from opportunity to closure.
  • Maintain ongoing account management to ensure satisfaction and expand revenue.
Our ideal Account Executive will have:
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3+ years of field sales experience, especially in data or cloud technologies.
  • Over 5 years focused on generating new business within enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to manage and close new client relationships independently.
  • Experience achieving $800k+ ARR annually and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
  • Strong focus on new business sales.
  • Track record of activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and present solutions effectively.
  • Proactive, energetic, positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Understanding of business drivers behind IT.
Bonus points for experience with:
  • Implementing MEDDPICC.
  • Selling software or cloud applications to enterprise clients.
