As an Account Executive with focus on the German Mittelstand at Demodesk, you will drive net-new business by selling our AI-enabled meetings, coaching, and transcription tools. You will build and own a pipeline of medium-sized enterprises (typically ~€10-200M revenue, non-enterprise but beyond small business), deeply understand how AI tools deliver value in sales to these customers, and close deals end-to-end. You are fluent in German (native) and English, have deep experience selling SaaS into the German Mittelstand, and bring strong skills in value-based / solution selling.

Goals
  • Prospect, generate, and qualify new business opportunities within German Mittelstand companies.
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline: track progress, forecast and report regularly.
  • Conduct discovery calls to deeply understand prospect’s needs, challenges in sales meetings, coaching, note-taking etc.
  • Deliver clear, compelling product demos / presentations of Demodesk, focusing on AI coaching, automated transcription / summaries, follow-ups, etc.
  • Close deals and meet or exceed monthly / quarterly / annual revenue targets.
  • Contribute to learning & enablement: share best practices, improve internal processes.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and conferences, and coordinate the organization of events.
Your profile
  • Minimum 3-5 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, ideally selling to German Mittelstand / mid-market companies or Enterprise.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new logos.
  • Experience selling “value propositions” around sales enablement, meeting automation, AI / analytics, or similar productivity / coaching tools for GTM-teams.
  • Comfortable with full new business sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, closing.
  • Familiarity with using modern CRM (Hubspot) and sales stack; good at driving own pipeline forecasting and pipeline hygiene.
  • Experience with complex stakeholders: sales leadership, enablement, operations, IT, or similar.
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
