When you join our Team as an Account Engineer (all genders) based in Frankfurt , you have the ability to demonstrate your engineering background to help clients neutralize potential disaster - saving property, businesses and livelihoods.

Our fire, explosion and natural hazard experts provide technical guidance and support to continuously understand, improve, and mitigate risks across a wide range of industries. Our experts are resources for FM and our clients, collaborating with internal business units, external codes and standards developing agencies, industry groups, service companies and equipment manufacturers to strengthen our property loss prevention knowledge and risk solutions.

Responsibilities

What you can expect :

• The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering long-term customer engineering relationships and sustainable risk improvement plans that meet both, the clients and FM’s needs through consistently demonstrating the value-added differential of FM for Frankfurt-based accounts through partnering with other FM teams (. Field Engineering, Underwriting, Claims, New Business Development).Other responsibilities include : Evaluating and assessing the nature, probability, and magnitude of potential losses, and communicating them to a client / prospect and the account team.Accurately assessing and evaluating account wide risk information and exposures and help the client understand hazards and risk to their business.Developing, communicating, influencing and executing effective mitigation strategies to achieve mutually agreeable risk improvement in line with FM’s corporate objectives.Effectively managing change at corporate level including effective project management. Providing professional advice and consultation to all clients on risk management matters, making them aware of the benefits derived from various products and services offered by FM Global.In conjunction with Account Managers, establishing risk improvement priorities and support efforts to obtain client compliance with loss prevention recommendations.

Qualifications

What we are searching for :

Bachelor's degree in engineering.Experience in industrial loss prevention, property risk management and / or fire protection engineeringExcellent communication, presentation, sales, time management, analytical and teamwork skills.Ability to balance attention to detail with focus on key objectives and effective problem solving and decision-making skills.Fluency in German and English - both written and oral. Additional languages are a plus.
