The opportunity
Academic Dean, Online Product Health

This role involves managing the vision and strategic leadership for an online academic portfolio at SNHU's Global Campus. You will oversee program health, relevance, and performance through collaboration across departments, leading a team of Senior Associate Deans.

Reporting to the Academic Associate Vice President, Business and STEM Programs, and supporting a remote work environment.

What you'll do:
Strategic Leadership & Cross-Team Alignment
  • Set vision, strategy, and operational plans for the online academic portfolio.
  • Lead collaboration across departments to ensure alignment in delivery modalities.
Program Health & Lifecycle Management
  • Optimize program performance, student outcomes, retention, and engagement.
  • Use data-driven evaluations to assess and improve programs.
  • Ensure academic programs meet accreditation, regulatory, and professional standards.
  • Support student success initiatives and new program development based on market demand.
  • Ensure technology and learning tools support curriculum delivery.
People Leadership & SME Engagement
  • Develop strong leaders who embody university values and culture.
Academic Strategy Implementation
  • Foster a culture of data-informed decision-making within the team.
  • Oversee compliance, reporting, and documentation efforts.
  • Assess operational projects and resource use.
  • Implement governance systems.
Program Infrastructure & Policy Development
  • Lead compliance, accreditation, and governance protocols.
What we're looking for:
  • At least 8 years of progressive leadership in higher education administration.
  • Terminal degree in a Business-related field or Higher Education Leadership with a graduate degree in Business.
  • Experience in online degree program administration with a focus on student outcomes.
  • Budget management and complex project leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $110,590 to $176,978, with a targeted hiring range of $122,202 to $165,333, based on skills and experience.
