Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) is one of the largest universities in Germany. The business education program at the Faculty of Law and Economics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz has, among other things, a didactic focus in the context of digital transformation. This applies to both the Bachelor's program and the two Master's programs (M.Ed. and M.Sc.). The position holder will be responsible for teaching and examination tasks within the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in business education as well as in the field of didactics of (business) informatics and digitalization.
Applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in § 58 in conjunction with § 57 of the Hochschulgesetz of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The position is remunerated according to salary grade A 13 LBesG and to be filled on 01.10.2025. This is a permanent civil servant position.
A promotion to an office in grade A 14 LBesG at a later date is possible, provided that the civil service requirements are met. If the requirements under civil service law are not or not yet met, an appointment as a research assistant (EG 13 TV-L) may be considered first.
