Germany, Stuttgart
Our client is an international scale-up that has set itself the goal of making electric mobility accessible to everyone. The company is building a leading European platform for refurbished e-bikes and combines sustainability with high quality and fair prices.
For the workshop and operations location in the Stuttgart area, we are looking for a leader who combines technical strength with leadership and actively helps shape day-to-day operations. In this role, you will take responsibility for the e-bike workshop as well as adjacent operational areas of our client. Your focus will be on leadership, technical quality, and structured work – with strong proximity to the daily business.
Your daily work
- Leadership, coaching, and development of a team consisting of mechanics, spare parts management, and operational refurbishment.
- Active participation in the workshop’s daily operations: technical support, diagnosis, and problem solving.
- Close collaboration with team leads, the operations manager, and the operational units.
- Planning capacities, attendance, tasks, and priorities in daily operations.
- Building, implementing, and consistently following up on process and quality standards.
- Further development of workflows with a focus on scaling and long-term automation.
- Ensuring that the team, workshop, and processes are always optimally equipped and organized.
What you bring
Must-have
- Leadership experience, ideally in a bicycle or e-bike workshop or a comparable technical environment.
- Very good mechanical knowledge in the area of bicycles and/or e-bikes.
- A strong hands‑on mentality: you lead technically and actively get involved yourself.
- Very good organizational and planning skills.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in building and stabilizing structures, processes, and teams.
- Experience in fast‑growing organizations or scale‑ups.
What awaits you
- A responsible leadership position in a strongly growing, sustainable company.
- Monday–Friday work week.
- The opportunity to truly combine technology and leadership (not a purely management job).
- Short decision‑making paths and an environment where improvements are actively encouraged.
- A modern working environment with room for initiative.
- The chance to significantly shape one of our client’s locations operationally and structurally.
If you would like to combine leadership, organizational talent, and strong technical skills and be motivated to build and further develop things in a structured way, we look forward to receiving your application at recruitment@bikebusinesshub.com.
