An innovative opportunity awaits in Karlsruhe for a Master’s student interested in embedded systems. This role focuses on developing a plug-and-play mechanism for dynamic node integration within an update management system. You will engage in requirements analysis, design, and prototype implementation, contributing to exciting projects that shape future technologies. Join a company that values mutual appreciation and offers a supportive environment for personal and professional growth. With flexible work arrangements and a commitment to health and well-being, this position is perfect for those eager to make an impact while balancing work and study.
In embedded systems with multiple microcontroller and/or microprocessor nodes, there are use cases where network nodes are dynamically added and potentially removed. This occurs during initial setup or production, as well as during the device's lifecycle, such as replacing or expanding a battery management system. A plug-and-play mechanism for a control unit as a network node is sought, which operates without manual configuration. To update new nodes, necessary changes in the embedded device must be transmitted to the cloud. The goal is to develop a concept that enables dynamic addition of nodes into an existing update management system of the embedded device.
