Jobbeschreibung

We are an innovative company in the field of vehicle technology and are looking for motivated students to support us in the development of future-oriented software functions for controlling high-voltage components. The aim is to develop an intelligent high-voltage energy management system to ensure a stable energy supply in the vehicle - a key component for the mobility of tomorrow. We rely on model-based development with MATLAB / Simulink, modern test procedures and - depending on interest - also on the use of machine learning methods, e.g. to make energy management adaptive and efficient.

Your Tasks :

  • You will develop a high-voltage energy management system for safe energy distribution in vehicles with electrified powertrains.
  • You will implement control and monitoring functions in MATLAB / Simulink.
  • You will model and analyze power electronic components, e.g. converters and inverters.
  • You will create software tests and validate the developed functions with suitable simulation models.
  • Optional : You support the integration of machine learning algorithms, e.g. to optimize the energy flow.

Necessary Skills :

Advanced degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study

Knowledge of automotive engineering and electrical engineering

Knowledge of Matlab-Simulink

Confident handling of Microsoft Office, Windows 10 or 11

Knowledge of German and / or English (at least one of the two languages, at least C1)

Desired Skills :

  • First points of contact with machine learning, energy supply or power electronics
  • Team and communication skills
  • Organizational skills and a structured way of working
  • Commitment and proactivity

Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The thesis will be remunerated with a monthly salary of EUR 979.
