Airbus Defence and Space is looking for our current and future challenges in definition, development, and integration of the Dual IR Missile Warner System for A400M in Manching.

A400M Missile Warner Technical Responsible (d/f/m)

The A400M "Atlas" is the most advanced, proven, and certified airlifter available, combining 21st-century state-of-the-art technologies to fulfill the current and upcoming armed forces’ needs. It can carry strategic loads and deliver into tactical locations with small, unprepared airstrips, and also act as a frontline tanker.

Shape the future of A400M and join the Electronic Warfare team within the Air Power Engineering organization.

As Missile Warner Technical Responsible, you will act as a technical project manager for the Dual IR Missile Warner and as an Electronic Warfare (EW) systems engineer. This role can also be adapted for reduced hours and scope.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Technical project management: capturing requirements, planning activities, defining project artifacts, creating work packages, monitoring progress, and managing suppliers.
• Systems engineering: requirements analysis, system architecture, trade-off analysis, impact analysis, interface management, and milestone reviews.

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Engineering degree in telecommunications, electronics, or equivalent
• Experience in systems engineering and electronic warfare systems
• Knowledge of equipment development and supplier management
• Familiarity with neuronal networks, if possible
• Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure
• A400M experience and knowledge of relevant standards (DO-178, DO-254, DO-160)
• English negotiation skills; German preferred
