Job summary

Houlihan Lokey, Inc. is seeking an Off-Cycle Intern to join our Real Estate Capital Solutions team in Munich. You will build financial models, assist with pitch books, and support real estate-focused capital markets and M&A transactions under senior leadership.

Ideal candidates have a strong academic record in accounting/finance/real estate, fluency in German and English, and prior internships in related fields. MS Office skills (PowerPoint/Excel) are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Academic record strong; preferred degrees in accounting, economics, finance or real estate.
• Previous internship in real estate investment, debt advisory, M&A advisory, private equity, restructuring or related fields.
• Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals and the drivers that impact asset value.

Responsibilities

• Build financial and cash flow models for real estate assets and platforms.
• Assist in the preparation of pitch books, investment memoranda and financing memoranda.
• Support execution of real estate-focused capital markets and M&A transactions, including advisory on acquisitions/divestitures.
• Assist in debt advisory for large-scale financings and complex liabilities restructuring mandates.
• Conduct market, industry and company analyses on real estate trends.
