We are in search of an experienced, motivated, inquisitive, and results-oriented individual to help us develop perceptional algorithms for a robotic system in our newly formed AgTech department. ZEISS started a large strategic initiative to bring robotic solutions to high-end greenhouses, with an initial focus on labor automation. Therefore, we extend our dedicated team to drive this effort with a start-up mindset within ZEISS. As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for the automation, integration, and testing of various robotic features for our agricultural robot, with an emphasis on software. Integrated in a fast-growing team of scientists and research engineers, you develop algorithms that process and analyze 2D and 3D data using a combination of computer vision, machine learning, and efficient optimization techniques.
