Summary:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be safety-conscious and enjoy hands-on work.
  • Assemble and disassemble various components.
  • Document daily activities accurately.
  • Possess good mechanical skills for daily operations.
  • Perform cleaning, grinding, painting, and related tasks on buildings, equipment, components, and subassemblies.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing trash, coolant, oil, scrap, chips, etc.
  • Be courteous and work well with others.
  • Complete Maintenance Request Forms for repairs.
  • Uphold a safe and clean working environment, maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Work with a safety-conscious attitude and report unsafe acts or areas.

Qualifications:

  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical tools.
  • Basic shop math and other relevant functions.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Experience with cranes, including safe lifting, inspections, and staging equipment.
  • Safe operation of forklifts, including loading, unloading, refueling, and inspections.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work from bills of material, purchasing lists, shipping documents, and parts supplies.
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and understand critical processes.
  • Resourcefulness in completing tasks.
