Horizon Premier Staffing seeks a detail-oriented Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant to support a U.S.-based law firm in a long-term remote role. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, medical providers, and clients on case management from intake to resolution.

Ideal candidates have experience assisting U.S. attorneys in workers’ compensation matters, advanced English, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting U.S. attorneys in workers’ compensation matters.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to track multiple deadlines.
• Experience with case management systems such as Filevine, Clio or Needles is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist attorneys with workers’ compensation case management from intake through resolution.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, forms, and correspondence.
• Request and follow up on medical records and billing statements.
• Coordinate client communication and case updates.
• Maintain accurate case files and deadlines in case management systems.
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and medical evaluations.
• Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel.
• Support discovery preparation and document organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workers’ compensation legal assistant to support a U.S.-based law firm specializing in workplace injury claims. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience assisting U.S. attorneys in workers’ compensation matters who are looking for long-term professional growth within a structured and stable remote environment.

You will work directly with attorneys, paralegals, medical providers, and clients, becoming an essential part of the firm’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with workers’ compensation case management from intake through resolution.


• Draft and prepare legal documents, forms, and correspondence


• Request and follow up on medical records and billing statements.


• Coordinate client communication and case updates.


• Maintain accurate case files and deadlines within case management systems.


• Schedule depositions, hearings, and medical evaluations


• Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel


• Support discovery preparation and document organization.

Candidate Profile

• Mandatory experience working with U.S. law firms


• Prior experience in Workers’ Compensation cases


• Advanced English (written and spoken)


• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines


• Experience with case management systems (Filevine, Clio, Needles, etc.) is a plus.


• Professional communication skills with U.S.-based clients and legal teams


• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office setup
